Physical
One most common type of bullying. This type of bullying is by using physical contact with an object that would injure of harm somebody. This object coulb be a weapon or you body parts. Another example of physical bullying is taking someone things and breaking or destorying it. Research shows that 30% of kids bullied in school is by physical contact.
Verbal
This is the second most common type of bullying ,verbal. This type of bullying is by the usage of words. Such as name calling, making abusive remarks. making racial comments, joking about someones religion and gender or even their economic status. An example of verbal bullying is saying "Hahaha look that guy is fat". Research shows that 46.5% of students in school that are being bullied is by verbal.
Cyber
This type of bullying is used by sending messages or pictures using electronic media. Such as cell phones and computers. An example of cyber bulling is sending a message saying "Your so ugly" in a text message or on facebook or msn. Cyber bullying is fairly common but not as common as verbal and physical.
Emotional
Emotional bullying can be expressed in many different ways. In some ways it can be physcal, verbal and cyber however there are differences between them. An example of emotional bullying that is also verbal is spreading rumors. Another example is to exclude someone out of your social group.
Sexual
This type of bullying is common if you can belive it. This type of bullying can be either be physical or verbal and can be emotional as well. This occurs when someone physically forces someone to have sex with them(Physical) or when someone calls someone "Gay" or a "Slut"(Verbal). This type of bullying doesn't normally happen at school but occurs outside of school to people of all ages.
